Current Vacancies

Vision Keepers Committee
The City is accepting applications for the Vision Keepers Committee that is being formed to coordinate the implementation of the 2037 Vision and Action Plan. Applications are being accepted until 5:00 p.m. October 31, 2008. Complete a committee application form above and submit it to the City Manager's office. Currently the committee is proposed to be made up of four members at large, two City Councilors and the remaining nine members representing the Lead Partners. The City Council will likely make the appointments to the committee in November.

Planning Commission
The Planning Commission will have two to three vacancies at the end of this year. The Commissioners are appointed by the City Council. The Planning Commission meets twice a month on Wednesday evenings. People interested in applying for these positions need to complete an Planning Commission application available at the Community Development Department at City Hall. Incumbents are eligible to apply for these positions. The deadline for receiving applications is November 14th by 5:00 p.m. For further information please contact the Community Development Department at 942-3340.

WASTEWATER PLANT OPERATOR, TREATMENT I/II – The City of Cottage Grove is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator, with a minimum of a Treatment Grade I, capable of obtaining a Treatment Grade II certification within one year, to provide general assistance in the maintenance and operation of City wastewater utilities.
