Vacancies Historic Landmarks Commission Vacancy
The City of Cottage Grove Historic Landmark Commission has
two vacancies. The Commissioners are appointed by the City Council. The
Historic Landmark Commission meets once a month on an as needed basis in the
evening. People interested in applying for this position need to complete an
Historic Landmark Planning Commission application. The application is also available at the Community
Development Department in City Hall. Applicants must have a demonstrated
positive interest, knowledge, or competence in historic preservation. The
deadline for receiving applications is noon on Monday, June 3, 2013. For

NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING
A public meeting
of the Budget Committee of the City of Cottage Grove, Lane County,
State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2013
to June 30, 2014 will be held in the City Council Chambers of City
Hall, 400 Main Street. The meeting will take place on the 28th
day of May 2013 at 6:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to
receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on
the budget. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or
obtained on or after Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 400 Main Street, between
the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
This is a public
meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take
place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the
proposed programs with the Budget Committee.
The meeting will also include a public hearing to discuss possible uses of state revenue sharing funds.
