Notice of Budget Committee Meeting and Public Hearing
Calendar Date:
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of Cottage Grove, Lane County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018 will be held in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, 400 Main Street. The meeting will take place on the 9th day of May 2017 at 6:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 400 Main Street, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
The meeting will include a public hearing to discuss possible uses of state revenue sharing funds. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.
After the budget message has been delivered, and the presentation of the budget has been made, the Budget Meeting will be recessed until May 11, 2017, at 6:00 p.m.
The Budget Committee will hold a work session to discuss the budget as presented.
