Safe Routes to School Project Information
The Oregon Transportation Commission met on January 17, 2019 and awarded funding made possible through Keep Oregon Moving (HB 2017) for the Safe Routes to Schools program. There were 112 applications from throughout the State and 24 projects were selected for funding from the $15 million available. The City of Cottage Grove was one of the projects selected and awarded $1,272,143 to assist in funding the Safe Routes to School project in Cottage Grove. The total project is estimated to cost $1,676,512.03.
